Angela Mika Holton, (she/her), Digital Organizing Manager, has contributed to two Elections and Campaigns Reed Award-winning and recognized digital projects. She has previously worked as a National Digital Organizer with Restaurant Opportunities Centers United and as a Digital Strategist at a progressive digital media firm. From 2018-2020, she organized with Planned Parenthood in Washington State and led their legislative advocacy program. Her organizing leadership aided in the passage of legislation making medically accurate, age-appropriate, and inclusive sex education mandatory in Washington. She has presented at academic and digital professional conferences, and her work has been published in Sexuality and Culture: An Interdisciplinary Quarterly. In her free time, she is a Board Member on Disability Rights Washington’s Board of Directors, a Political Action Committee Member for Planned Parenthood Votes Washington, and she volunteers with the Northwest Abortion Access Fund. Angela was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i, and was raised in an all-women, three-generation household. She helped provide in-home care for her grandmother, Helene, until her death in 2020. Angela has two cats who are the light of her life.
