Chabely Cortez, (she/her), Corporate Engagement Manager, comes to Caring Across Generations with 15 years of experience in nonprofit program management, fundraising, and resource development. She was born and raised in the Bronx and continues to be a proud Bronx resident. She is a first-generation Latina college graduate who is passionate about service, storytelling, and closing opportunity gaps that disproportionately affect immigrant and BIPOC families. Chabely earned her Master’s in Public Administration from New York University where she concentrated on Nonprofit and Public Management at the Wagner School of Public Service. She has held leadership positions in New York-based organizations like Latino U College Access (LUCA) and Literacy Inc. (LINC). She recently had her first child and married her high school sweetheart. She loves her two dogs, a Yorkie named Einstein, and a Pug/Boston Terrier named Floyd. She enjoys writing, traveling, street art, and cooking. She is also a huge New York Yankees fan!
