Sarah Vitti, (she/they), Senior Manager of Culture Change, has always been inspired by the intersection of culture and politics. Before joining the CAG team, she spent five years working between the worlds of entertainment, philanthropy, and nonprofits developing strategies and content that leverage comedy, pop culture, and storytelling to challenge the status quo and help shift attitudes, behavior, and policy towards justice. Prior to entering the cultural strategy space, Sarah spent four years in community organizing and advocacy, working with social change nonprofits to educate and mobilize communities around environmental and consumer rights issues. She is a board member of the Lower East Side Film Festival and sits on the advisory board for GOLD, a comedy school that works to amplify girls’ and women’s voices through comedy and creativity. She currently lives in Flatbush, Brooklyn where her mother grew up. When not running around New York City’s comedy clubs, theaters, and music venues, you can find her in upstate New York at The Root Community reconnecting with nature, farming, and building treehouses with friends.
