Tory Cross, Associate Director of Federal Policy and Government Relations, is a disabled queer survivor based in Washington, DC. She grew up as a caregiver for several family members, and she is lucky to now have robust disabled communities of care. She is a firm believer in the power of advocacy to build the world of care we deserve. She brings her experience with disability justice, progressive advocacy, political campaigns, and public health to Caring Across’ federal policy work. In her free time, she enjoys exploring DC, and at any given time, she can be found within two feet of a good book, a cup of coffee, or a cat.
